On April 21, 2020, the Court of Appeals announced the exemption for certain groups of students from certain rules related to law school teaching requirements and the admissions process, including restrictions on distance learning, the pro bono scholarship program, the 50-hour pro bono service requirement, the competency requirement, and the schedule of the New York Law Course and the New York Law Exam. The results of the LAT 2022 will be published between mid-November and the end of November 2022. You can download your results in a PDF file by logging into your online candidate account and clicking on «View Results» on your homepage. The New York State Board of Law Examiners entered into reciprocal agreements to allow candidates to transfer scores from the Bar`s Distance Admission Examination, held on October 5 and 6, 2020. When submitting your application to UAC, you must use your LAT ID number for LAT 2022. You can only enter one LAT ID number into the UAC system, whether or not you have taken the test twice. For security reasons, results will not be sent by e-mail or fax, and details will not be communicated by telephone. This serves to protect the confidentiality of candidates.

Your outcome statement includes a single report score between 0 and 100 and a band of percentiles that indicates your performance relative to all other candidates who participated in the LAT in 2022. There is no pass or fail score for the LAT. UNSW Sydney will consider your LAT scores and academic scores (ATAR or equivalent) in the selection process. The ATAR or equivalent is combined with the LAT result on a sliding scale, so those with a very high ATAR or equivalent need a lower LAT value and those with a lower ATAR or equivalent need a higher LAT value. However, if the candidate withdraws or does not appear, the Régie may, at its discretion, require the candidate to submit an application before requesting a subsequent examination. What if I also took the 2021 LAT and get a higher score? 3) Any candidate who obtained in 2018 a J.D. diploma. an ABA-approved law school that has served for a previous UBE administration but has passed no more than one previous bar exam in a U.S. jurisdiction; and LAT scores are valid for two years.
