There are a number of world-renowned law schools in the United States, making the country one of the best places if you want to study for a law degree. The Faculty of Law offers the JD for students. Two JD degrees are also offered in various fields such as taxation, international law, economics, history, philosophy or politics and French studies. There are a number of graduate programmes as well as dual LLM degrees with other schools, including the University of Melbourne Law School and the National University of Singapore. Stanford University topped the rankings for the fourth year in a row. There are three newcomers in the top 10: Australian University of Melbourne is fifth (from 11th), the National University of Singapore is eighth (from 12th) and KU Leuven is 10th (from 25th). The University of Toronto is the highest-rated Canadian university at 16th place. Fourteen other Canadian universities are represented in the ranking. Stanford University topped the rankings for the third year in a row, while Cambridge University remains in second place. UCL and Harvard University both enter the top 10 this year, in eighth and ninth place, respectively, while the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Toronto drop out of this group.
