Gordon Brown Law is a brilliant law firm, they have everything under control, punctual and although they are very professional, they are also very polite and friendly. Lisa handled my case, she is an excellent communicator, very efficient, patient and explains the procedures thoroughly. This company has a great match with customers and I would definitely recommend them. Thank you GBL. If there was a 0 star review they would get, I can`t stress enough not to use this fitting company. How they were not closed is incomprehensible to me. They`re lazy and incompetent, they lose paperwork, and I`m sure they`re literally sitting on the paperwork, which gives them the confidence to think they`re bigger than they are. The largest group of ignorant kids who ran the business and a total joke caused months of stress and even when they were threatened by the bar association, they still haven`t removed their fingers. I can`t thank Gordon Brown Law Firm enough for all the hard work they put into Rebecca Saunders. They went out of their way to make selling my house and buying my home as easy as possible. Send information immediately and bypass my busy schedule to make the process as smooth as possible. I would recommend Gordon Brown Law Firm to anyone. Kate Bell has been excellent throughout the process of buying our home.
Communication was excellent, all questions were answered so quickly, either by phone or email. I found Kate and everyone I spoke to in the company to be friendly and knowledgeable. Kate kept me updated throughout the process without the need for a hunt. I would not hesitate to recommend Gordon Brown Law Firm. I used the business when I sold a house by estate. I was very satisfied with the service, the staff were very friendly and professional, I had contacts by phone and email and was kept informed throughout the process. 8. There are other complaints bodies (such as ProMediate and Small Claims Mediation) that are responsible for handling complaints regarding legal services if you and our firm wish to use such a system. We do not agree to use such services. They were recommended to us by Halifax because they were part of their expert panel.
Our business started in May 2018 and we are in October and ongoing. They do not respond to emails and phone calls, and if I lose my Council discount, I think about going to court. Samantha Weston is the least professional and incompetent person in this company Very bad service of this company, very slow to process sales and does not respond to your requests. If you want the sale to happen quickly, don`t use this company This company has been very slow and has made many attempts to contact the developer. Many volumes of calls that were never answered left with messages that were never answered. My constant emails were being answered, but the paperwork, which I immediately returned, was ignored. No clear communication with Solictor`s suppliers. It took 4 months to complete while I already had a mortgage offer. This company represented me and failed. This caused me to lose my business, you put the professional remuneration on your settlement statement and if they are negligent, they use it to fight you to the end. Unless you have very deep pockets to fight them, you will pull them out until you run out of money.
Do not use them*** 7. Unless it is agreed that there are good reasons not to do so, the Legal Ombudsman expects you to allow us in the first instance to examine and respond to your complaint in accordance with the procedure described above. You can forward your complaint to the Legal Ombudsman up to 6 months after receiving our final written response to your complaint (and within 12 months of discovering a problem). There are two other relevant time limits: the Legal Ombudsman receives complaints up to 6 years from the date of the act or omission or three years from the date on which the complainant should have known of the complaint. The Legal Ombudsman only deals with complaints relating to the Service; He will refer any behavioral complaints he receives to the Licensed Sponsors Council. One of the most incompetent and delayed companies we have come across. The time and cost they spent on a simple question that we referred to them was four or five times higher than it should have been. One to avoid. Absolutely horrible Absolutely horrible. Never use this law firm if you want a REASONABLE turnaround time. We had several problems with this company, including the fact that we could not find our building codes and discovered in week 17 of the trial that the garage included in our deeds was in fact a lease and not the property, and that none of the deeds had been written to transfer them.
Week after week we ask for an update or speed up the process and every week we are told that we are not a priority. We were also told several times that we would finish next Friday because everything was done on our side, but again we are still waiting. We are now in week 20 of our property buying process. As we are first-time buyers, we did not expect this to continue, even during a pandemic. Nevertheless, it appears that we are several weeks away from completion and have been informed that another 12 weeks could wait. We were also advised over four weeks ago to close our ISA purchase assistance so we can finish next Friday. As a result, we now lose over £200 in interest every month. We are also in a limited position where, if we withdraw from ownership, we will lose all our savings interests on these government ISAs, which is over £4000. If you would like a company to call you back within a week of requesting to speak with them, please choose someone other than Gordon Brown Law!! Very bad company.
