No one really worked particularly hard, people spent their days chatting instead of getting things done. Lack of any kind of procedure or trial, which is quite shocking for a law firm. No training, you are expected to only «know» things, so training becomes like a «Chinese whisper». Again, this is pretty ugly for a regulated industry. Stay away from HCB Cardiff if you want your mortgage processed. Several mistakes and delays from Sam Doubler and his assistant Bethan Gwyther, both of whom seemed unable to tell you the truth. This led us to take on serious debt and pay high interest charges that could not be paid until the mortgage was processed. I spent many hours pursuing basic tasks and even had to contact their manager once to start the process. I would not recommend using this company.
