Regulations for an architectural project aim to improve the conditions of the environment in which man develops and carries out his daily activities, defining the recommended minimum standards of design and construction that guarantee comfort, habitability and functionality in urban spaces and buildings. For several decades, it has been indisputable how important it is for the architect to know, master and apply the rules and regulations for the development of his projects, because with this regulatory framework we ensure that the functionality, safety and stability of our building are always appropriate to each space we design. It is this last question, which allows the approval of the project by the competent authorities, facilitates the criterion of the architect at the design stage, since the recommendations granted in each standard attempt precisely to generalize and delimit the criteria in order to design correctly and avoid possible errors, delays or corrections in the future. The consolidation and improvement of spaces designed for man are based on various aspects such as the creativity and cunning of the architect to carry out the project in all its phases, as well as on the aesthetics, function and form of the space itself and a fundamental part, normativity. Regulations for each specific subject, from the Magna Carta, which governs us as Mexicans, to Mexican standards on specific topics to indicate the precise information necessary for the realization of an architectural project.
